How do I play Box Box?

Tap a card to flip it face-up. Tap a second card. If the two faces show the same driver, the pair locks in green and stays revealed. If they don't match, both cards flip back face-down after about a second so you can try again.

How is the board built?

Eight pairs of drivers from the current Formula 1 grid are picked at random and shuffled into a 4×4 board. Each visit gets a fresh shuffle — Box Box is a per-session game rather than a daily one. Tap Restart at any time for a new shuffle without leaving the page.

Your best time and move count are saved locally on your device via localStorage so you can chase a personal best across sessions. There's no global leaderboard yet — best time is per-device.

Do I need an account?

No. Box Box is free to play, no login required. Open the page, tap a card, you're playing.

How does the timer work?

The timer starts the moment the page loads and stops the instant you match the last pair. Move count tracks the number of two-card flips you've made — match-on-first-try doesn't add a move; only confirmed pair attempts do.
