Corrections

Pitbrain is data-heavy: standings, race results, historical stats, game scores, fantasy prices. Things go wrong. When they do, I want to know and fix them quickly.

Reporting an error

Use the contact form with:

• The page URL where you saw it.
• What is wrong (what was shown vs. what it should be).
• A link or citation that supports the correction (FIA timing, official press release, race classification).

How fast it gets fixed

Game-scoring errors are highest priority — if a leaderboard or fantasy total is wrong, I aim to fix and recompute within 24 hours. Stats and historical data corrections are usually fixed within a few days.

What changes when something is fixed

• Game scores — recomputed automatically; the leaderboard updates without you needing to refresh predictions.
• Standings & race results — the underlying record is updated and any pages that read it (driver, team, head-to-head) refresh on the next cache cycle.
• Trust pages, terms, privacy — this page lists material changes with dates.

If you spot something that looks like AI hallucination

The Pit Wall chat is grounded in the database for factual questions and falls back to Claude for the rest. If an answer reads as wrong, copy the exact prompt and the answer into the contact form and it will be reviewed. The unmatched-prompt log is also reviewed regularly so common bad answers get turned into proper templated replies.
